Announcement of aspiring leaders webinar series

February 18, 2025

Greetings to our FWLE Community!

We hope everyone had a healthy and rejuvenating holiday season with family and friends and a great start to the 2025 New Year! Every new year brings opportunities for new aspirations and directions for ourselves – physically, mentally, and spiritually. We wish everyone the strength, means and fortitude to accomplish your 2025 goals!

It is hard to believe, but 2025 will complete the first quarter of the 21st century. Change at warp speed is the new normal! Our society – indeed the entire world – has never seemed more in need of capable leaders, and the demands on leaders have never seemed greater. No matter the circumstances in our lives, our workplaces, and our communities, we are expected to be great team leaders – inspirational, accessible, empathetic, inclusive, empowering, informative, productive, and a resilient rock of stability as uncertainty swirls around us. All this makes FWLE’s mission all the more vital today – i.e., equipping our leaders to achieve positive outcomes toward the strategic vision of our organizations or reference groups while navigating the relentless challenges and complexities of the modern world.

We are pleased to invite you to our Aspiring Leaders V webinar series commencing February 25, 2025. This year’s dynamic speakers of our six-session program continue our focus in the essential areas and competencies represented by our session descriptions, with emphasis on the singular challenges confronting leaders who are women and women of color. Accompanying this communication is a roster of our program sessions.

Session 1 of Aspiring Leaders V will be free admission for all attendees. The reality of rising costs compels us to charge a $25.00 admission fee (roughly the price of three Starbucks specialty drinks) for each of Sessions 2-6 (total $125.00).

We hope that you will join us for each session of Aspiring Women!

Sincerely,

Phyllis A. James
